Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

At County Ob/Gyn, our experts specialize in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat a range of gynecologic conditions. Our compassionate surgeons are committed to providing excellent care and work with you to develop a treatment plan that is best for you.

Benefits of Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally invasive techniques offer a safer and more effective alternative to traditional open surgery by avoiding a large abdominal incision. With minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, our patients can have:

  • Smaller incisions
  • Less pain
  • Shorter hospital stays
  • Faster recovery and return to daily activities
  • Reduced scar tissue
  • Less risk of infection or other complications

Conditions We Treat Using Minimally Invasive Surgery Techniques

  • Ovarian cysts
  • Endometriosis
  • Fibroids
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
  • Adenomyosis

Our surgeons work closely with each patient to evaluate individual symptoms, overall health, and other factors to determine whether a patient is a good candidate for minimally invasive surgery.

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Program

The Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program allows patients to discharge from the hospital the same day as their surgery by modifying perioperative care. As long as you meet all criteria for discharge, you can recover at home in a more comfortable environment. The ERAS program is now used throughout the country, and we are proud to offer this to our patients as well.
