Ljiljana Plisic, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Plisic has been a valued member of County Ob/Gyn since 1990. She began her medical training at the Sophie Davis School for Bio-Medical Education and earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in 1984. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City in 1988. Before joining County Ob/Gyn, she worked at Community Health Care Plan.

Dr. Plisic is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and maintains annual recertification. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an Attending Physician at Yale New Haven Hospital and as an Associate Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine. She is also the Director of Ultrasound at County Ob/Gyn and a member of both the Connecticut Medical Society and the New Haven Obstetrical Society.

Dr. Plisic has been named a "Top Doc" by Connecticut Magazine every year since 2013. She is a recipient of the 2007 Temple/Women's Surgical Award for Teaching and has a special interest in complementary medicine, menopause and perimenopause. She is also certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Dr. Plisic is a proud mother of one and enjoys traveling and relaxing by the Connecticut shoreline, where she resides.
