Craig Sauer, M.D.
A New York native, Dr. Sauer earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Binghamton University before going on to receive his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. In 2014, he moved to Connecticut to complete his residency at Bridgeport Hospital - Yale New Haven Health.
Dr. Sauer is currently an attending physician at Yale New Haven Hospital. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, including robotics, contraception, and high-risk obstetrics. He also has a strong passion for medical education and enjoys teaching both medical students and residents.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sauer enjoys traveling, listening to music, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. An avid traveler and runner, he has visited over 20 countries and has completed six half marathons and one full marathon.
